INSTAL PROCESS
Download : Auslogics Duplicate File Finder
After Download Double-click duplicate-file-finder-setup.exe to download this software and install it on your PC.
Select 'Custom install' option and uncheck the three boxes below.
1::Now click on "Click to Install".
2::Remove "check of yahoo as your default home page" check.
3::Now start the installation by clicking on the "Agree and Install" button.
4::Uncheck the Auslogics Drive update check box from the next screen.
By default, ADFF searches for duplicate files on your entire PC, but you can exclude some folders from this search. For this, click on the drop down menu of the drive from left side and uncheck folders to exclude.
In this you can add any external drive like USB or smartphone.
By default, ADFF searches for five file types. If you want to extract any of these file types from the search, uncheck it and click on Next.In the next step, you can limit your search by file size. For example, if you only need to search files from 5MB to 10MB, then type 5 in the 'Ignore files smaller than' and select the MB from the next drop down box. Similarly, select 'Ignore files big than' and type 10 and select the MB from the next drop down box.
Alternatively, to search all files (regardless of size), uncheck both check boxes and click Next.
In the next step, if you want to ignore a duplicate file name, file creature or a modified date and the hidden file, uncheck all three options. Click on Next.
In the next step, if you want to search only for specific duplicate files, then select 'File name contains the following:' and type the name of the files in the quote box in the box below or add their extension.
For example, if you have to search all images named India, then "India; India.jpg; India.png "type.
If you want to search all the files, then select 'Search for all file names' and click on Next.
Now this step is very important, so give attention.
In this step, you will tell ADFF what to do with them after searching duplicate files. You can delete them for Recycle Bin, so that they can be restored again. Or you can select 'To Rescue Center' option. In the Rescue Center option, all these files are archived in ADFF folders and you can restore them whenever you want with a single click. If you want to delete the permit for all these duplicate files, then select Permanently.
After selecting one of these Criteria, click Search.
Once the search is complete, according to your criteria, a list of all origins and duplicate files will appear.
To filter this search, click on any of the four columns (Name, Path, Size, Date Modified). By clicking on any file, you can preview it in the right side. You can also play audio and video files.
You can select one by one to delete these duplicate files, or to select all the files at once, click the arrow in the side of the Select button and select 'Select All Duplicates in Every Group'.
Now after clicking on Delete, all these duplicate files will be deleted.
Recover Deleted Duplicate Files:
If you have selected Rescue Center in the last step, you can easily restore these deleted duplicate files.For this, click on the Rescue Center on the right site. You can see those files by clicking on Details. After clicking on the Restore button, all those files will be restored.
And if you do not want this restor, you can delete the termant by clicking on the Delete button.
